Jungle Safari With Kids

Let's go for a Jungle Safari in Rajaji National Park. This video was shot on 4th Apr 2021 between 4PM to 7PM. Kids were excited to see the animals in the jungle however we couldn't find anything except the deers ad elephants. But we were able to spot many birds.

The booking experience was really easy even though it was not fully online. We visited the official website first https://rajajinationalpark.co.in/ and later we have to follow up with them on the WhatsApp +91 99829 07130. With an advance payment of ₹ 1,000 we got the booking confirmation. The total we have paid for the trip was ₹ 3,800. Here is the breakup of the same:

1. Gypsy for 3 hr ₹ 2,100
2. Vehicle entry fee ₹ 250
3. Eco committee charge ₹ 50
4. Tickets for Indian charge ₹150/person x 4= ₹ 600
5. All applicable taxes and service charge. ₹ 800

Note! Ticket for foreigners is ₹ 600 each.

Since we travelled from Jwalapur, Haridwar during the Kumbh the traffic was a nightmare. There were many roads closed and it took around 2 hours travelling 14 Kms which on a regular day would take 30 minutes approximately. Below is the google map link to the entry gate with the proper address.

Kids enjoyed the jungle while we got to breath fresh during COVID time. They also enjoyed spotting some animals and birds. Below is the list of animals and birds we spotted.

It's a great place for spending half a day with kids in the jungles while they enjoy seeing animals and birds in the wild you can relax and breath fresh. Rajaji National Park and Tiger Reserve will definitely be a good addition to your travel itinerary. We would rate our experience 3/5 and recommend this place to the families specially with kids having some interest in wildlife.
